Trump to give 'big announcement' in West Virginia

The Times cited three unnamed sources in saying that Justice, a coal and real estate magnate who ran for governor past year as a Democrat, will announce the switch at President Donald Trump's rally in Huntington this evening. Trump touted "a very big announcement" at the rally throughout the day on Thursday.

The announcement is expected tonight during President Trump's rally in Huntington.

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, a Democrat, said on Thursday he had no heads up about what the content of the announcement was, but said he hoped it would be related to the opioid crisis or a jobs announcement.

"Let's reject partisanship, look for a solution in the middle, and lower taxes for our constituents and business so we can get the economy growing", Manchin said in the release. I believe I'll be making it in West Virginia, so that will be an exciting.

Trump also said that he could be more presidential than anyone else except perhaps Abraham Lincoln. That is apparently to come at an event in West Virginia. But the Boy Scouts later told TIME that they are unaware of any phone call being made to the president. According to the NYT, he has been friends with various members of the Trump family for quite a while.
