Dragon Quest Builders 2 is happening, coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch

During last night's live stream of everything Dragon Quest, we got some good snippets of info on the series. Longtime fans will recognize Malroth as the final boss of Dragon Quest II (or Sidoh in the Game Boy version of DQII). Today, both series enjoy a healthy game release cycle. Anyone else pining for a Dragon Quest Racers? Why there's such a price disparity considering all three games are from the same era and were released for the same platform is anyone's guess. The developers revealed in the same that Dragon Quest Builders 2 is now going through the development process and soon will arrive on the famous gaming consoles PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. What may have been a surprise, however, was that the sequel was announced as coming not just to the PlayStation 4, but Nintendo's hot new console, the Nintendo Switch.

Video game stories from other sites on the web. While details regarding a release outside of Japan have yet to be revealed, Dragon Quest Builders producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto said a year ago that Square Enix is "committed" to releasing more Dragon Quest titles in the west.
