Vampyr E3 2017 Trailer Reveals Game's November Release

Vampyr will be at E3 this year, so expect gameplay to come out of the show and bring us new material to talk about.

Dontnod Entertainment has released an E3 2017 trailer for their upcoming game called Vampyr, the Gothic action RPG from the same team responsible for Life is odd.

One of the unique selling points of the game is the interconnected society present within, which will react if the player gives in to predatory urges. Pre-orders are available now and feature two bonus weapons and one outfit.

We are at this point waiting for a gameplay video and other details that will be certainly found during the course of the Los Angeles conference. Set in early 20th century Britain during a bout of the lethal Spanish flu, the streets of London are crippled by disease, violence, and fear. We are also treated to a glimpse of The Ascalon Club, a secret society for the wealthy vampires.

The new trailer, which is accompanied by the rock song Devil by IDA MARIA, shows off a lengthy, rather cinematic, look at the game, its dark alleys, deadly underground passes, and corrupt neighborhoods. As a doctor recently turned into a Vampire, you try to understand your new affliction.

To survive against deadly foes roaming the streets - vampire hunters, undead Skals and other monstrosities - you will need to choose which civilians to feed on, so you can grow stronger and evolve your vampiric abilities.

Be prepared to live with the consequences of your actions. Your actions will save or doom London. Since the trailer itself is devoid of substantial information, hopefully Vampyr's actual presence at E3 2017 will bring more details about the game to light.
