Wizards forward Oubre ejected for bowling over Olynyk

"We don't like them and they don't like us".

"He should be suspended", Thomas said Saturday following Boston's practice on the campus of Georgetown University. After being mostly silenced in Games 3 and 4, Thomas now has a minus-0.6 net rating in these playoffs. He connected to the groin region of Oklahoma City Thunder big man Steven Adams a few times in last year's playoffs. "We've just got to play our game".

In Game 3 however, things got out of hand after Wizards wing Kelly Oubre Jr. took exception to a screen from Celtics big man Kelly Olynyk. Kelly Oubre hit [referee Monty McCutchen] harder than he hit Olynyk.

Olynyk received an offensive foul while Oubre was given a flagrant 2 foul and was thrown out of the game alongside a suspension for Game 4.

You can watch Oubre's video above via Monumental Sports Network.

It takes one to know one if you're Draymond Green.

Green pointed out that this isn't an individual incident for Olynyk.

"Kelly Olynyk is a dirty player, man", Green said. "I didn't expect it".

Oubre, the 15th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, averaged 6.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 20.3 minutes per game during the regular season.

Olynyk's teammates were less pleased with Oubre's actions.

We have Draymond Green to thank for stirring the pot on Olynyk's questionable play.

"There was no such thing as the two Kellys", Boston center Al Horford said. Olynyk set an illegal high screen on Washington's Kelly Oubre Jr. that incited an altercation. Everyone knows that he's dirty (and that he flopped). The officials called Olynyk for the offensive foul, and the Wizards were going to receive possession thereafter. That's what I don't understand. Not trying to put anything on Kelly but he's just not like that. I'm standing by that prediction despite what I " m about to tell you. Yes, with the backcourt duo of John Wall and Bradley Beal the Wizards like to get out in transition, but they've also showed a willingness - maybe even an eagerness - to physically mix it up. Lebron could murder someone on the court and not get any time off. Coincidence? I think not.

The Atlanta Hawks' next general manager will have total authority of personnel decisions following moves on Friday which dismantled the two-tier management team of Mike Budenholzer and Wes Wilcox. But if you keep getting hit in the head you might respond that way. "It's got to be called differently".

"I'm not the right person to ask about it", Oubre confessed.

Let's be real, the Wizards are a damn good basketball team. "Hopefully, the other guys miss shots like they've been doing". We're just focused on winning the game tomorrow. I haven't talked to [Oubre].
