Microsoft announced the news in Redmond, Wash. during its annual Build conference for developers.

Clipboard is a tool that lets you copy something on your Windows 10 computer, then paste into other Windows, iPhone or Android apps. Many features of this update haven't yet been revealed so we would certainly have to wait till September this year to see how Microsoft plans about to bring these type of inter-OS device shifts convenient for users.

"Fluent Design will deliver intuitive, harmonious, responsive and inclusive cross-device experiences and interactions", says Terry Myerson of Microsoft in a blog post. Microsoft demos the app in the video above. A Timeline display will show you what you were last working on, and you can jump into those files, apps, or websites, when you move to another device. The Pick Up Where You Left Off feature will allow users to carry out using the same app across multiple devices interchangeably.

"Imagine logging off your PC and having the doc you were editing pop up on your phone". There is no need to install hardware on the walls around you. Even if changes are made to the file, it will automatically be synced and your changes will be saved for when you get back online.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) shared details of the next major Windows update, dubbed the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, at the Build 2017 developer conference in Seattle on Thursday. Underpinning some of the above end user apps are two new features for developers, the Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Fluent Design System. This also likely won't affect just the Xbox Scorpio as if this was to be implemented for the new console you could expect that the Xbox One would get this upgrade as well. Termed as Fall Creators Update, it aims to stylise user experience with not just native Windows tools but also cater to cross-platform systems like Android and iOS.
