59' - GOAL! Leicester 1-2 Spurs.

REFEREE: Michael Oliver (ENG). - Tottenham now have three players with 20-plus goals in all comps this season (Kane, Alli & Son); more than any other club in the Premier League/Football League.

Tottenham's Harry Kane, top, celebrates scoring his second goal during the English Premier League soccer match between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium in Leicester, England, Thursday, May 18, 2017.

The scoreline reflected exactly how the game went as Mauricio Pochettino's men got some revenge on the Foxes, who pipped Spurs to the title last season.

Tottenham dominated possession and Son provided Kane with the opener in the 25th minute.

"We are a bit disappointed not to get a clean sheet for Hugo, who is going for the golden glove but all in all it was a good night".

Kane has now scored 96 goals for Spurs at the age of just 23, and is the first Tottenham player since Jimmy Greaves in 1968/69 to score four hat-tricks in a season.

"It's very clear. I think I told you many times that we will keep the players we want to keep and maybe sell the players that we want to sell".

Tottenham's success since Pochettino took charge in May 2014 means a number of his players have now become targets for bigger spending clubs with Kyle Walker, the right-back, linked with a potential move to Man City where he would nearly certainly double his salary. Son got behind the Leicester defence and cut the ball back for Kane, who finished with aplomb.

It was nearly two with their next attack as Alli saw his header from a Ben Davies cross well-saved by Kasper Schmeichel.

"I am proud of the fact that even though I've had two ankle injuries this season and missed 13 games in all competitions, I am still up there at the top of the scoring charts". "We've come up against a quality side but the disappointing thing is I didn't see enough desire to defend as a team", he said.

"We're building a very exciting project".

Player ratingsLeicester: Kasper Schmeichel 5, Danny Simpson 5, Yohan Benalouane 4, Christian Fuchs 4, Ben Chilwell 5, Riyad Mahrez 4, Wilfred Ndidi 5, Daniel Amartey 5, Marc Albrighton 6, Shinji Okazaki 5, Jamie Vardy 5.

Leicester improved after the break, and though Son went close with an acrobatic effort from Kane's dinked ball, the hosts soon halved the deficit.

Chilwell pulled a goal back after 57 minutes.

It was the "perfect" night to cap off what has been, albeit from the concluding title outcome, a near-perfect season for Harry Kane.
