'Baahubali' 2 amasses Rs 792 crore worldwide

Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan star in pivotal roles in this instalment of Baahubali too.

'Baahubali' 2 has shattered major records at the box office since the day of its release in India. The film's all time worldwide gross was Rs.650 crores which was a new achievement breaking the earlier record set by Superstar Rajinikanth's "Enthiran" in 2010.

The report further mentions that SS Rajamouli will be taking home one-third of the profits, adding that the satellite and other rights of Baahubali 2 in all 4 languages were sold for Rs 438 crore.

As the film already gone past Rs. 700 crore (gross), the magical number is just round the corner.

Baahubali 2 has left the Bollywood awestruck with several stars praising the film.

"There are certain films that acquire cult status over a period of time", said film trade and business expert Girish Johar. "Baahubali 2" creates new record".

Released on 28th April this year, Baahubali 2 has garnered an huge success at the Box Office.

Released in over 1100 screens in the United States, the film made it to 40 IMAX screens, the highest ever for an Indian film.

Bahubali 2 collected over Rs 90 Crores and entered the 700 crore club.

The film speaks volumes about the visual technique, gripping story telling of the master filmmaker Rajamouli and the answer to the enigmatic question "Why did Kattappa killed Baahubali" which made the audience to flock to theatres in large numbers.

The film was out in about 9,000 screens worldwide and around 6,500 screens in India alone. The Karan Johar produced the historical film with some massive screening in opened to have 9000 screens worldwide, with nearly 6,500 screens in India alone.

It now stands with a grand total of whopping 860-crore (approximately) at the global box office. Baahubali2 has collected biggest box office income in these 5 days.
