Victor Moses speaks on Kante winning PFA Player of the Year

"It's a huge honour to be chosen by the other players", said Kante when accepting the award. His stamina and physicality will not be on the wane for at least the next two years and it remains to be seen whether he seeks a move to one of the continental giants or stays in England with Chelsea.

Chelsea and Tottenham stars dominated the PFA Team of the Year and a player from each side picked up an individual gong too.

"It's a great achievement, he's working very hard and he's improving a lot".

"[Chelsea] are a fantastic team that want to win the title, but for us as well it is important to take points". "I've had two lovely seasons. we didn't win the league yet and we (Chelsea) will fight like it's a final in every game".

Kante is hoping to become the first player in the Premier League era to win the title with different clubs in successive seasons.

"I thought he was a number six like former Chelsea player Claude Makelele".

"I am sure he is not going to be a player that Tottenham will want to let go, but we know Manchester City have big resources".

His form at Tottenham has helped the 21-year-old to also become a prominent figure on the global stage with England, forming a fine partnership for both club and country with Harry Kane, who was also nominated for the main award.

And Beckham, himself the PFA young player of the year 20 years ago, is excited by what the former MK Dons man has to offer.

But Kante thrived as Conte switched to a 3-4-3 formation and Chelsea won 13 successive Premier League games.

"He's improved a lot from last season". That is the second highest figure in the Premier League.
